Diversity of Brazilian Food Culture

Hello! We are Shuhaskaria Kibon, a restaurant specializing in churrasco and Brazilian cuisine located in Shingura-dori CORE, a new landmark in Tokyo, a 6-minute walk from Shinbashi Station. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a little bit about what Brazil is like, while also weaving in some cultural information. I would like to talk about why Brazil's food culture has reached a level of diversity unparalleled anywhere in the world, referring to the book "Oishii Brasil" (written by Masato Aso), which I introduced to you the other day. There seem to be two factors. The first is the influence of the people who were originally here and those who moved here later. The second is the influence of the natural environment in various parts of the country, which is brought about by the vastness of the country. The first is the influence of the people who have come from all over the world: Indians, Portuguese, blacks brought by the Portuguese, and immigrants from all over the world. This is combined with a rich natural environment with six very different biotic communities. This is a major factor in Brazil's food culture. In the next issue, I would like to get into more specifics. Shuhaskaria Kibon is waiting for you in the Shinbashi/Toranomon area with our signature meat dishes.
