Que bom! Riverside Cafe e Bar This is also new! Galinha da bento

Thank you for visiting Que bom!
If you are looking for meat dishes in the Shinbashi and Toranomon area, Kibon is the place to go!
We are waiting for you with our freshly grilled churrasco and authentic Brazilian cuisine.
Following on from the last issue, we bring you information on the newly opened Kibon affiliate, Que bom!
As well as broccoli rice, Que bom! Introducing a new lunch box from Riverside Cafe e Bar, the Galinniada.
Incidentally, we expect to see these new boxed lunches at the Kibon Kitchen Car stadium in the future.
The name of this dish, garrinhada, is probably not a familiar Portuguese word, but it is very popular in Brazil.
Various recipes exist, but to put it simply, it is a dish made with chicken (gariña) and rice.
There are also risotto-like dishes in which chicken is stewed in its own juices and served with rice, and paella-like dishes in which grilled chicken is broken up and cooked with raw rice.
Due to the problem of lunch box containers, Kibon developed a recipe that aimed for somewhere in between.
Characteristic of this dish is the use of cumin for aroma and turmeric for color.
Impressively, it tastes similar to dry curry.
It is not a curry.
Although it may not look that meaty when made into a bento, it is actually quite filling, as it is made with a large amount of chicken thigh meat.
Complete with broccoli, quail eggs, and Brazilian sausage, this garinha da is available for 650 yen!
Please give it a try... ♪
