Hello! We are Shuhaskaria Kibon, a restaurant specializing in churrasco and Brazilian cuisine, located in Tokyo's newest landmark, Shinguradori CORE, a 6-minute walk from Shimbashi Station.
The photo shows Farinha di Mangiocca.
Fariña means powder.
The Japanese name for mangiocca is taro, but it might be more appropriate to call it cassava.
The literal translation is cassava potato flour.
It has no taste at all. It is tasteless.
The Brazilian people cannot do without this powder, which is an essential ingredient in Brazilian cuisine! This means that it is an indispensable ingredient in Brazilian cuisine.
So how to eat this tasteless potato powder?
The point is that it is just a powder and should be poured over basic soupy foods.
It's served over churrasco, over feijoada, over pasta, over salads, and on and on... before you know it, you don't feel like you've eaten enough without the farinha.
This is serious.
